Flush against the farm there are many hiking paths, for example the Waldlehr trail to the Melager alp and the Gletscherlehr trail to the Weißkugel lodge. Less known paths lead also to more remote mountain lakes, promising high routes, former borderline barracks and obviously to the peaks itself, such as for experienced alpinists to the Weißkugel (3739 m), Langtauferer Spitze (3528 m) and the Freibrunner Spitzen (3357 m). Destinations for family gateways include more easy walkable mountains such as the Nock Spitze (3006 m) and the große Schofkop (3003 m).
Our recommendation of a perfect sport ground for “adrenaline junkies” is the Reschensee and its surroundings: sailing, boat trips, kite surfing, mountain biking, cycling, ice sailing, snow kite, ice speed skating and ice climbing are very popular with our guests. Other beautiful tourist attractions in proximity are the sunken tower and the museum in Graun, the bunker at the head of the river Etsch, the fortresses in Nauders and Altfinstermünz, the monasteries Marienberg and St. Johann Müstair (World Cultural Heritage) , mount Watles, Messner Mountain Museum Ortles in Sulden, palace Churburg in Schluderns, Archeoparc in Schnals, the National Park Stilfserjoch, Lasa Marmo and of course the traditional weekly markets throughout Vinschgau.
The cross-country-ski trail right on our doorstep gives unique impressions of our snowy winter landscape. Highly recommended are also the ski resorts of our township, especially the skiing area Schöneben in Reschen. In winter our farm is an ideal ski tour basis, such as to the Weißkugel (3739 m), Bärenbartkogel (3471 m), Freibrunner Spitzen (3355 m), Falbenairspitze (3203 m) and Glockhauser (3023 m).
